My winter outfit for a day in nature with lots of snow

The winter has surprised us once again and reached sub-zero temperatures, as in a long time no longer. To stay warm in these freezing temperatures it helps to wear the right winter outfit. It should be warm and comfortable and also look stylish at best. Today’s outfit inspiration started from these points and I want to give you some tips on what to look for to make your winter outfit perfect for the cold temperatures.

My winter outfit for a trip to the Urach waterfall

On Valentine’s Day we went to the Bad Urach waterfall, we decided after a long break from excursions to do something again. The small winter break did not stop us, however, I had to think about how to combine my winter outfit. I knew we’d be out all day and -2°C was the stated maximum temperature on this wintry day.

Winter outfit inspiration with my favorite winter sweater

This turtleneck sweater I have worn by far the most favorite, soft cuddly and versatile combinable. Whether in a winter outfit with skirt and tights or with leggings in leather look. This sweater is super easy to pair with many winter outfits.

With the sweater I wear off white pants, which I have already shown you in my Instagram Story. I ordered the pants in a smaller size, unfortunately they haven’t arrived yet, so here’s the look with the original jeans. My winter outfit I have kept in cream and white and with this great quilted jacket brought some color in the outfit. Nevertheless I leave the winter look in muted colors- A nice change to black and blue.

Finally, here are a few tips to keep you nice and warm on a winter outing.

  • Thermal leggings/underwear keeps super warm and I would always wear underneath for long trips and walks
  • Warm feet are super important so always put on thick socks and take a pair of socks with you.
  • Layering or the “onion look” are particularly important in winter
  • Take a thermos of hot tea with you, it warms you up from the inside

Those were a few tips on my winter outfit and I’m excited to see how the weather develops in the near future. Are you a fan of winter or are you already looking forward to spring?
