Love letter for my treasure – The civil wedding

Meanwhile, it is already 11 years with you together, with my best friend, protector and great love. A lot of time we spent together and for me it’s almost half my life and I would choose again and again to share this time with you. Together we are strong and so we stick together in good times and hard times, in health and sickness, in times of gains and losses. I made this promise to you at our wedding and I know we will keep it forever. With you I can be the person I really am and feel the greatest happiness.

I am so grateful for your little declarations of love and the big gestures you show me to express your love. So you waited for me every day in wind and weather at the bus stop to see me for 10 minutes in the morning before school, you rode your bike 7km in the dark from my parents’ house home to spend some more time with me, you reserved a whole cinema hall for us so we could watch the movie that was already out or you came to my classroom with a rose on Valentine’s Day. You changed my definition of true love and made me believe in true love.

But it’s not just these little gifts and big gestures that matter, because I love the person inside you, I love you for who you are, and I love you because …

There are so many more reasons why I love and will always love you. On 26.09.In 2009 I fell in love with your bright blue eyes at the quarry pond and today I promise to always love you. I am very excited about our future together ❤️
